OTHER INFORMATION
- You can't cross the processional route once it has been set up: the whole length is lined with police and barrier-jumping makes them very unhappy. The only way to cross is by way of the underpasses at Bank, City Thameslink and Mansion House tube stations. They are all marked on our map.
- Allow plenty of time: after about 10am the pavements around the route will fill up quickly, especially around Bank, Mansion House and St Paul’s. It can take a long time to get down Cheapside, but you will find that back roads and shortcuts are fairly clear.
- Further information about the day, where to watch the show, and where to eat, can be found here
- Get the app: The Lord Mayor’s Show app is a useful companion on the day of the Show – find out who is passing, what’s next, where to stand and where to go.
- Enjoy the Show Zones at Paternoster Square and Bloomberg Arcade for free family entertainment and activities between 12 and 5pm. Other attractions include fairground rides in St Paul’s Churchyard and food stalls in Paternoster Square.
