The fabled Bronze Age chieftain, Tryppa, after whom the village is named, will lead our float in the Lord Mayor's Procession. The famous Yellow Barrow display team, last seen at the village's Daffodil Weekend 50th Anniversary Party, form the core of our entry with school children (and their Headmistress) and cricketers weaving in between. What are the Yellow Barrows all about? Think the Red Arrows but on foot with bright yellow wheelbarrows replacing planes but with (nearly) all of the skill and element of danger associated with a well-drilled display team. The village motif is the daffodil, so expect various representations to be very much in evidence.
We are very grateful to BullBarrow for providing the fleet of yellow barrows for the Lord Mayor's Procession
